Mookie, Ivy And Axel's Yorkie Poo Girl, Owned By Kathy

Good morning Marleen,

Well, Mookie is 6 months old now and doing awesome! She had her first grooming yesterday - I've attached two pics for you. Oh my DOG she is adorable!!

I take Mookie to the Maple Animal Hospital here in Burlington - they are great. I had the vet check Mookie's neck when she saw her in Sept and she said her neck 'was slightly out' at the base (sorry, can't recall any technical terms - sublexation¿) - the vet gave her an adjustment (she does doggy chiro) which Mookie responded to very well. (the vet also believes in Dr. Jean Dodd's vacination reduced regiment) Mookie had her rabies shot yesterday and another minor adjustment to her neck which again she responded well too. The vet commented it was a very minor adjustment and that her neck seems very good. Nothing to worry about.

Mookie is a treat and such a welcome family addition. I am still off work ill; but will likely be returning early Feb. I'll have to start introducing Mookie to what will be our work routine; but I figure that can wait till after the holidays. Besides, when I return to work I'll be part days for the first week or so.

Mookie sleeps in our bed now - that didn't last long (her sleeping on the floor beside us) - and she just snuggles in. She likes to either sleep between the head board and my pillow or just right on top of my pillow.

I made Mookie a sweater for the chilly weather - I took an old sweatshirt, cut off the arm, the cuff slips over her head nicely and I just trimmed and hemmed the end to fit, I added two snaps underneath so gather up the excess material - it works really well. Aren't I the clever cow!?!? lol

Anyways, I just thought I'd send you a quick update with a couple of pics. OH! and at six months - Mookie is 6.6 lbs - what a Mookie the Moocher! ~;o)

Hope you are well and enjoying all the wee ones you have - WOW - could not believe how tiny they are at birth!! My vet doesn't believe in spaying until 14 months of age after all of the growth plates have finished so that's when we'll do Mookie - July 2013.

Have a funny happy day!

Kathy & Mookie

Lucy The Yorkie Poo

Hi Marleen,

Just wanted to send you a picture of our Lucy who is now 15 months old and a whopping 5 pounds!! We are so happy with her! She is obsessed with her ball right now and loves playing fetch in the backyard. She just loves kids and playing (and stealing) my daughters stuffed toys!! Her parents are Sophie and Ozzy. She was born in April 2011. Did she have any other siblings in her litter? We would love to see any pictures of her as a baby if you had any.

Scout The Yorkie Poo Reading With Jenna

Hi Marleen!!

I hope this email finds you happy and healthy this holiday season! It's definitely been a busy past few months with puppy training and new routines and I have to say I am loving every minute! Scout is SUCH a great dog and she is fitting in perfectly :) Her ears are still floppy (which I love) and her colouring is changing every week and instead of the grey bits on her ears and legs, we are starting to see more golden tones! Scout was just spayed on December 29th and I am off of work until Thursday, so it's been nice to take care of her and get lots of snuggle time! I am heading back to the vet today for a check-up, but all looks well at the incision site and she is starting to act more like herself and is much more lively. Training is coming along nicely- no more accidents in the house, we are doing puppy training classes and we are working on all of the basic commands. She loves to snuggle up on ANYTHING soft and cuddly, so keeping her off of the couch has been the main ordeal! Santa bought her a fluffy bed of her own so hopefully this will help! This is my first puppy and Scout has taught me SO much- I am SO grateful to have her in my life! Thank you thank you thank you!

Take care and Happy New Year Marleen!

Jenna :)

The Wells Family Have Adopted Our Yorkie Poo Jack, And Have Now Decided To Bring Home A Second Puppy, Mandy, So That Jack Can Have A Playmate.

Hi Marleen.

We had such a great time yesterday seeing you and all the dogs. Mandy is wonderful, our pictures turned out great so I am going to make it (adoption announcement) official by sending out my pics to my sister. I am also sending out an updated one of Jack, we got a great one, I'm sending it to you.

He loved Niagara Falls. Gee, I feel like I have to best looking dog around.....so many people stopped to talk and hold and kiss him. Gee, once we get Mandy we will need a body guard....LOL. I sent you a couple of pics I took of Mandy when I held her at one week old....that was when we picked up Jack on July 16th.I love it so much!!! We had a great time..

I also sent a pic of Jack trying to clean...or kiss...hehe... Heather (the cat).

Thanks Marleen

Cheryl

Happy Thanksgiving Marleen.

Jack and Mandy had their first family dinner and what a time we had. My sister loves Jack and Mandy. Jack really enjoyed the company, Mandy enjoyed it but at I found that she doesn't warm up to people as quick as Jack, but they are really good for each other. Mandy has done some growing so Jack is much more comfortable with her when playing. I had her weighed on Monday and she was 2.2 pounds. At night Jack sleeps beside her playpen on his blankie. They lick through the mesh...they are so cute. After we had Mandy for about a week I woke up in the night and noticed that Jack had moved over beside Mandy and he has been there ever since. In the morning they are so excited to lick each other and wrestle....it is so beautiful. I have to wake up earlier in the morning because I just love being with them that I find it difficult to get ready for work....LOL. They are true pals....it is everything that I had wanted for them both....sniff, sniff!!

Potty training is coming along, unfortunately Mandy doesn't have the benefits of having me 24/7 for a month like Jack did, so it is going a bit slower and she is smaller but it is coming along. Jack is actually helpful in that area. I ask Mandy if she needs to do potty? Jack will smell her behind and then move her with his head over to the pee pad...hehehe!!! Jack is definitely some kind of smart dog, I swear when I speak to him he understands me!

On Thursday our sweet Jack had his Castration Operation, he did very well....Tina was his nurse and ready to greet him when I dropped him off in the morning....and he is very fond of Tina from when she did puppy classes. Mandy was quite bothered when I came home from work...the poor thing has never been alone....poor her and me....gee I missed his big hugs and kisses he always greets me with....sniff, sniff. But we got through it.....and Jack is doing great!!! Mandy is doing great walking on a leash, Jack is a great leader....she follows him any where!!! I sent some pics....my favorite ones. We feel so happy with our Mandy and Jack, our family now feels complete. We feel so blessed to have found you Marleen , and thank you so much for giving us Jack and Mandy.

I actually have been thinking about you A LOT lately because I cannot believe how busy I feel with having two dogs, and I wonder how you manage with....ALL those puppies....especially all that poo and pee....LOL. and all the other stuff that goes along with dogs....and two young kids...gee.....You are my hero!!! I look forward to keeping in touch with you Marleen. We will see you again....one day, after all... you are mommy Marleen to my babies....LOL. and I wouldn't trust anyone else with them. Take it easy....hugs....Cheryl :)
PS: I am glad to hear that you aren't retiring.

Hello Marleen

You don't know me. I adopted (one of your puppies) off a family who were having family problems. They told me where she came from and I checked out your website. I am a dog trainer and also the team leader for a therapy dog service. I have recommended your business to several people who love Missi's disposition. She is sweet, calm, clever and funny. I know she is a yorkie poo- but would also love to know who her mother is. I am interested in adding to my family in the summer or fall. I also have another dog called milo. He is a miniature poodle. Milo and missi are very lucky as they get to come to work with me every day. I work with seniors with dementia. They both spend most of their days playing ball, snuggling with people who immobile and sneaking treats from the staff. I have met a lot of yorkies and yorkie poos and none match up to missi. The day I got her I saw her good qualities and gentle nature. I beleive you are a great breeder. Missi is following in her brothers footsteps and now knows numerous tricks. Milo was invited to the Rachael Ray show to show off his tricks. He knows over 900. Missi is at about 100 now so she is doing well. Her most favourite thing to do is play ball. She will run for hrs with the ball and we have to hide it if we want any peace. She also has a great sense of smell and loves to track things we hide in the house. Anyway I thought I would send you pics of her and her brother( they are totally in love with each other and are inseperable). Again thanks for being a good breeder. I say this as Milo was given to me and was the result of a puppy mill. He is a great dog and well trained but has many fears, missy has only one( she hides when the vacuum cleaner comes out). Anyways we would love to look into getting another dog to add to the family and if we could have another missi we would be happy.

Jelly Bean And Axel's Yorkie Poo 'Shuck" Owned By Chris And Misha

Hi Marleen, Happy New Year. My god it's been awhile I turned around and realized that Shuck's birthday is fast approaching. What a perfect time to give you an update on our 4 pounds of trouble :-) There are a few simple words to describe Shuck - Smart, feisty, playful, full of love and WAY!! to many licks Shuck is so smart Marleen, honestly I've never seen a dog quiet like him (then again I'm biased)- he learned all of his commands in a matter of weeks. He recognizes words, expressions and hand signals. We invented this game 'I'm going to get you' he runs grabs his toy play bows woofs and runs away - its so much fun! you should see him go. He's fearless - jumps on everything and can dive through the chair arms like no other. People keep telling us to put him into commercials he's def cute enough. His expressions themselves would make him the best little actor. He knows not to come into the bedroom and will sit right on the edge in the mornings - I sing 'Lonely' and his ears drop all the way down and gives us the biggest saddest puppy eyes - we couldn't stop laughing the first time he pulled this. He is loved by all - there isn't a single person whose met him that hasn't immediately offered to puppy sit.His best friend is our friends cat Orion they play chase games and sleep together. He has a bed he thinks is his girlfriend - takes it on dates through out the house - last weekend he pulled it right up to the fireplace and plopped himself down in front of it - no amount of coaxing would get him to move. The best we got was a ear lift. Marleen, I really hope you come down to Woofstock I want you to see him and how wonderful he is - he was 1000% the right choice of puppy and personality, We love him so much. Misha

Marlene, Shuck is a little stinker and a half - we finally got to take him out last Sunday and does he ever LOVE the backyard. he chased everything and anything he could find - we tried to play fetch, but the grass was just to long for him to see over : )
We just love him and his crazy little ways, we've encountered missing socks, shoes and more - but his personality comes through more and more every day and boy is he smart. Thank you so much for raising such a great little guy - the vet was super impressed and I can't tell you how many people I've recommended you to - would you believe a half hour walk took 2 hours every single person stopped us in the street - Shuck of course lapped it all up.
Marlene, let me know when Biscuit has her litter my parents are really looking for a pup and there's no one else I would rather have them get one from than you.
Hope you enjoy the pics.
Misha

Jelly Bean's "Kimmel", Older Brother (From Previous Year's Litter) To "Shuck"

Hello, Marleen!
This is Kimmel in Washington. Not very visible of him, but I must hold him or he is off. I will post you another photo later this week.It was great fun meeting little Shuck. His profile is identical to Kimmel, however, Kimmel has a poodle shape body, and Shuck a yorkie one. Whatever, they are both wonderful dogs, and I have not had a bad day since little Kimmel joined me. He has a super personality, and is a very happy dog. His tail never stops moving.
You truly are a terrific breeder. Many thanks!
Best wishes,
Yvonne

Jelly Bean's Kimmel (Yorkie Poo) Owned by Yvonne

Dear Marlene: A quick note to advise you that Kimmel had his Vet check up this morning and everything is O.K. He has settled in beautifully. No separation anxiety, and has made only one puddle the first day, and now appears to be fully trained. It meant going to bed late, and awakening at 3 and 6 a.m. so that he could empty his bladder, but it is truly worth the effort. We have two play periods a day, and he is such a funny little fellow. He loves his toys and fetches for me. I am quite impressed! Needless to say, he has completely stolen all our hearts, and I congratulate you wholeheartedly on breeding happy and healthy pups. My daughter will also be purchasing from you in a few years. Wants to do so now, but must wait as she does not want her present dog to be upset . He is getting on in years and deserves a very happy old age. Many, many thanks, Marlene. Yvonne

She hasn’t grown much, I guess she is the smallest type. My little sister is always asking about the male yorkie poo, (Kimmel) how is he doing?

I have attached the original pic that you sent us when we were picking our puppy and two newer ones. Hope you enjoy the summer and hope to hear from you soon.

Take care, Alex

Sadie Owned By Susan, At Obedience School

Hi Marleen, Thought you might enjoy these pics of Sadie at obedience class. One is the one minute sit/stay, the other is the three minute down/stay. She is doing well at both. The trainer jokes that if the grass gets any longer we are going to lose Sadie! Regards.

Benny Owned By Sharon And Family

HI!! I was thinking of you and thought I'd leave you alone! I LOVE HIM!!! HE IS SOOOOOOO WONDERFUL!! We have worn him out! BUT are being careful to realize his needs for sleep...HE LOVES walks, and runs, our yard, and US he just loves us and all his toys. We keep TRYING to give him dog treats for all the good behaviour but he doesn't really eat alot is just happy to get a pat from us! He does sleep in a create downstairs, BUT I've cheated, I'm using a bigger create than suggested so he DOES have room to pee and poo on the newspaper, HE CANT GO long without and I've decided even though I had good intentions, I'm not getting up in the night. I will be a much better mom to Benny and my children with sleep! HEE HEE...No worries he will take longer to house train but I have plenty time in the day to bring him outside, He does use outdoors (mostly) during the day, I want to enjoy him! He has an amazing set up with toys and bed food and water when I do get busy, he whimpers a bit but i ignore him and he settles down, he's smart, happy to know we are there. Hess picked up so much I sometimes leave him on PURPOSE to let him get used to it...LOL. So at night it breaks our heart, my daughter again talked me off the ledge telling me he will be fine, just as long as we give him room and paper to go to bathroom. He has a bed, no food, blanket and a night light, I put a blanket over the create (its the bar kind, not big bars so he's safe) I take his collar off, (god knows what he'll do with it) and I go to bed, I don't return until morning, I don't sleep on the floor, he's not in our room i don't break down.!!!.. I might be the nicest mom during the day, but night he needs to live without me..BREAKS MY HEART....But I'm stronger than anticipated..hee hee. He greets me frantic in the morning BUT after I take him for a walk, and he eats he is calm, good as new...He will get better at night eventually he will understand and the amount of love he gets during the day makes up for it!!!! So no problems because I'm sleeping, seriously you should see the life he has here. He has had more company & I have let him see other dogs he reacts excellent! AND he's fine. No signs of stress at all....I imagine night is rough for him but I read several peoples accounts of this online and everyone who sticks it out said it was worth it. I thought HARD about how I would handle the night. I was originally going to get up every 3 hours.....NOPE.....This is for the best! ) BLA BLA BLA...not justifying, explaining...And I feel great, not all tired and grumpy! BELIEVE ME this is the way to go for our family.... I could go on forever, We walk to the park, I carry him mostly, but give him several times to walk and run and learn sit and stay. He's a smart little guy! SO DARN CUTE! I LOVE HIM!!!!!! Thanks for listening! No worries here, I'll make sure I send you some pictures when he gets bigger. Cheers. Sharon and Family.

Just a quick note, all is fantastic, Benny & us learn more everyday. Everything we do we use as a 'learning' experience to teach. Our goal is to master 'sit' by Tuesday. He's learning not to nip people only toys, he's paper trained to one piece of newspaper if we miss going outside. He's very healthy loves walks on the leash, and is doing better at walking properly each day. Climbs the outdoor stairs we used to have to carry him up. We have a LONG way to go I know, for full off leash, and what have you, all in good time. Loves people & other dogs we 'consistently' introduce him to new experiences, he's not afraid. He rides in the car well, that took 'several' trips, wasn't his favorite, BUT we do plan to travel on weekends so everyday I take him in the car and he is fine with it now, he trusts me the most.. I take him to play with two full grown Teacup Yorkies at my friends, (they are indoor lap dog wimp's lol and Benny rules them, I'm not sure how much fun the teacups are having but Benny has a blast!..hee hee hee) He's not much smaller! Benny attempted to play with the full grown Lab next door, that ended with Benny's tail between his legs, awww, so sad, all in learning....lol...For now, we'll let him stick to the wimpy teacups! ) Still sleeps in the create at night, rarely complains, He's the best! I cuddle him ALL the time, but I also let him be a dog!) Thanks again for everything, I will keep an eye on your website for new puppies in the future. Sincerely Sharon and Family.

I hope you get this I have hundreds..LOL Some more recent are in my camera this one I pulled from a disk....Both ears are up now ha ha ha it took awhile...He no longer has this bed in the picture because he ate it! HA HA HA..., a blanket is best for him & LOTS of chew toys LOTS!!!...He goes for hour or longer walks and loves it. He travels in the car in a carrier for 3 hours to go up North & back no problem, he has started to paddle in the lake and goes for boat rides with the neighbours. He plays with larger dogs A LOT & is not scared at all..We have him in training classes and he sits, stays and lays down....He's doing great!....likes to pee on paper still so we are going to train him to go outdoors more often now...it won't take long, hes such a smart puppy.....I wish you could see him run around. He loves being a dog, loves being brushed and when hes tired still cuddles...BUT ONLY IF HE'S TIRED....He is so much fun! Hope all is well with you! Sharon and Family.

Blossom's Cheetos The Yorkie Poo                                 All Grown Up!

Jazz Owned By Gail

Hi Marlene. We have loved all our dogs over the years - but we still all agree that Jazz has the most personality of all the dogs we've owned. He is very smart and I'd go as far as to say more intelligent then the shelties I've owned in the past ( which I always thought was one of the more clever breeds)He's been easily trainable, obedient, very cuddly (definitely a lap dog) and playful without being hyper. There was a time when I didn't understand or empathize with our friends who had the toy breeds and gushed all over them. I've always liked a dog that is a dog and treated them as such - but my whole family agrees - we get it now!!!!! Our Jazz to us is the cutest dog on the planet!!! I'll be in contact soon. Gail & Jazz

Rusty Rusty All Grown Up

Laci's Rusty The Yorkie Poo

Dolly Owned By Monica, Linda and Amanda

Hi Marleen, Just a quick update. Dolly is great! She has finally started walking with the leash. We went to the Canada Day celebrations last night and she was so distracted by everything that she forgot the leash and started walking. We went down to the lake again today and she just walked wonderfully!!!!!! I have a walking partner again.! Dolly follows me everywhere. She loves the little hill we have in the backyard. She runs to the top of it, throws herself onto her back and proceeds to scratch her back all the way down to the bottom. It is quite the sight. Thank you so much for sharing Dolly with us. We thoroughly enjoy her. Monica, Linda and Amanda

Rudy Owned By Teresa And Mark

Hi Marlene, It's been 1 week since Mark and I picked up "Rudy" and thought you would like to know that he is doing really well. I am amazed at how quickly he adapted to his new surroundings. He is such a happy mild mannered little guy. He is going outside to do his business almost every time only a couple of accident in the house, again I am amazed at how fast he learns . He goes to the vet on Mon for his next shots, etc. Thank you again for letting us have the pleasure of having him for our new family member. Sincerely, Teresa and Mark

Sadie Owned By Susan

Hi Marleen, Just an update on Sadie. I can't believe I have only had her for two weeks! She is such a part of my family. She is doing just great. House training has been amazing! Not one mistake. I take her somewhere each day to socialize her. She went to my last school today to meet some of my students and everybody loved her! She sleeps through the night until about 5a.m. She has a good appetite and enjoys her treats ( apples, carrots, pumpkin biscuits) . She is an absolute delight! I'll keep you posted. Susan

Dixon The Yorkie Poo Owned By Colleen

Hi Marleen! I am Colleen Kirk, Dixon's mommy. In case you have trouble remembering - I got Dixon in September of last year when I drove up from Syracuse, NY. I wanted to let you know that Dixon is fantastic! He is the happiest, sweetest little guy and just a joy to be around. We are working on some separation anxiety issues but other than that he is so obedient and smart. :) I have always wanted to get him a little friend. So, I thought maybe I would contact you to see what puppies you have available or coming soon. Because after the great experience we had with you and how great Dixon has turned out, it would be worth the drive. It seems Dixon prefers girl dogs so I might be leaning towards a female. Thanks so much Marleen! I hope you and the family are doing well. I'll attach pictures of Dixon so you can see how much he's changed. He's just under 11 lbs. and has gotten very blonde. -Colleen

Take me to the top!

Nola Nola

Nola Owned By Maureen

My Nola - what can I say!! She's the cutest little devil anyone could ever want and when I leave her to go out (if not in her cage), she cries like a baby. My husband had to put her in her crate today just to settle her down - she just loves her mommy!!!!! She decides to settle down about 9 p.m. And then crashes. She loves to play and probably has more toys than any baby would have!! I do love to spoil her and my husband? He has both my yorkie (Dusty) and Nola fighting to see who can get on his lap first!! Wouldn't part with her for the world!! I can't thank you enough Marleen!!! Take good care and I look forward to hearing back from you.

Thought I'd send a recent photo of Nola taken yesterday after her "grooming". She's still my wild child, full of energy, still has mistakes in the house but loved none the less. I'd say she's between 8-9 lbs of mischief! If anything ever happened to either of my other 2 pups (13 & 12 years old), I think I'd come back to you again!! Nola loves my yorkie Dusty and Lily, well she puts up with both of them. I truly believe Lily at 13 has learned how to play due solely to Nola! Hope all is well with you! Maureen

Hi Marleen Our Nola I still consider a puppy - she's still remains my wild child. She loves my other yorkie Dusty and has almost reached the same height. I would estimate her weight at about 7 lbs. She's extremely friendly to everyone, very stubborn, but a complete joy to everyone. The house training is still ongoing. She's in her crate during the night and no problems with that. I've attached 2 photos for you. She needs to be groomed yet again but with the cold weather, I'm putting it off for a little while. You can see she's nearly all black with only a minimum amount of brown on her head and back legs. We love her and can't imagine not having her in our lives. Maureen

Cole The Yorkie Poo Is Nola's Brother

She's (Nola) sooo cute, she's quite a bit like Cole, although I think Cole is longer & taller. The colouring is surprisingly very similar. Cole isn't a wild child per say with everyone but certainly has his moments with us, he's more comfortable/social with people than other dogs. he's very smart & most persistent...he makes us laugh on a daily basis...he too is cute as a button.

Me And Marley Pickles    Christmas Kisses Marley Pickles

Play Time! Marley Pickles Yorkie Poo    Sleepy Time - On The Back Of My Couch!! Marley Pickles

Marley Pickles, F1 Yorkie Poo

Hi Marleen,

How are you? I just wanted to check in and give you on update on Marley Pickles! We had a great first christmas together, I think she was spoiled more then I was! She's been doing really well, she now plays fetch, comes when she is called and will sometimes sit when I ask her too :) She's also become a lot more independant over the last few months, she is now content to lie on the floor and play with her toys instead of following me around the house, although she still curls up right next to me every night to sleep! She is still not much of a barker (which I love), the last time she barked it actually scared me since I hadn't heard her for a while! House breaking continues to take some effort, but other then that I have no complaints!

I've taken her out to a few pet stores in the area and she draws quite a crowd - people can't believe how small she is! I often get compliments about how well socialized she is and I always attribute that to her time with you, I think being around the other dogs did wonders for her! She is also really good with my nieces, she is very calm and doesn't seem to mind the attention from the little ones - and they love that she is the perfect size for them to pick up and carry around!

I had her spayed back in Novemeber and she handled it like a trooper! I dropped her off in the morning and picked her after work and the nurse told me she didn't make a sound all day. She wimpered a few times through the night, but she basically slept straight through and by the next morning she was almost back to herself! She was on pain meds for 3 days, but she was active and happy the whole time, and the scar has healed really well. I think she has almost lost all of her baby teeth as well, I've found a few of them around the house over the last few weeks!

I've included a few recent pictures for you, I thought you would like to see how she's grown! I believe she is a whopping 2.5Lbs right now (and that might be pushing it)! You'll also notice that one of her ears still stands up, but its actually the opposite ear from when I brought her home! Both ears were flopping over for a couple weeks, but then one went back up, it seems to be her endearing feature :) You asked me once before if you could post her picture on your website and I don't think I ever replied - but yes you can! Go ahead and use whatever info you would like, I'm happy to share :)

I hope all is well with you, and all the best to you and your family though the new year!

Marley Pickles, F1 Yorkie Poo

Sorry my updates have slowed down - things have been busy and I spend all my free time hanging out with the pup! I decided to name her Marley Pickles, I always liked the name Marley but knew everyone would asked if she was named after the book, so I kept trying to come up with something else! The more I got to know her the more it kept coming back up though - she definitely needed a name that was a little more tom boyish! She seems to like it though, she already responds when I call her.
She really is a good little dog, she doesn't`t make a sound (except when she thinks she is alone) and she has been good with strangers so far! When we go for walks people stop me all the time to ask about her - someone even pulled their car over to find out what kind of dog she was!
You`ll notice she still has one ear up and one ear down :-)
I hope you`re doing well, thanks for checking in with us!

Lily The Yorkie Poo        Lily The Yorkie Poo

Dear Marleen-It took us quite awhile to get back to Michigan. Rain came down in sheets several times. But Lily was a real trooper. She ate food and drank water (lots of it) while driving in the car. We put out a puppy pad and she peed on that-in the car. When we safely crossed the border (we got a puppy lover this time-I could tell) and got back to the RV Lily promptly pooped on the drivers side floor of the RV. (Wayne's side.) So we put the puppy pad where she wanted to go potty. She ran all over the RV sniffing everything and playing with her toys. Now she is pooped out laying on the pink elephant blanket with the fleece pink and blue man on the other side of her face. I think she is really tired. Probably just figuring out that a big think happened. I will email the cute pics we got today. Thank you so much for our little Lily. She is a sweet little gift and we will treasure her. Wayne is already much in love with her. He even forgave her for pooping on his side of the floor. and cleaned it up. LOL. I will keep in contact. We will visit with Lily. She wouldn't forgive us if we didn't. Take Care. Your friend, Rachel (and Wayne)

The house is much bigger than the RV so potty training went a little awry when we got home. But now Lily is getting used to the house. Today I went back to work. Lily was as good as gold. She is residing in my big bathroom. She has a bed, her food and water and plenty of puppy pads. She went potty right where she was supposed to. I think she likes the treats. Sometimes we say "go potty" and she goes about 2 drips-and loves the treat that follows. My family met her yesterday. She was the big attraction for the day. My sister and daughter wanted to take her home. Here are some more pics. Wayne and I have gotten less sleep than before. But Lily is worth it. I think all told we were very lucky. Lily is very smart. Incredibly stubborn. Really really cute. and we are totally in love with her. Oh and trying not to spoil her. LOL. At the moment she is sleeping on my foot. I will keep sending pics. PS the vet said she was very healthy. and all at the vets office needed a little Lily kiss. I hope all is well with you and your family. I will keep sending pics and emails. I know Lily is going to be full of surprises. Take Care. Your friend, Rachel

That Lily! She is quite the super puppy. She loves her Mom and Dad!! She is smart too. She loves to go for rides in the car or the rv. She is very brave if someone comes up to the patio window that is not supposed to. She thinks my Mom is great because she always brings a treat for Lily. Lily loves little kids. But doesn't like to be squished! We just love her so much. She is quite a joy in our life. Now she rolls on the floor and when she gets up she looks like she stuck her finger in an electric outlet. Wayne laughs til tears come from his eyes. She does look funny!! But where is the camera when she does that????? Lily is my friend, baby and company everyday. And I never fail to mention you and Pizzazz Puppies. (and that my puppy has dual citizenship!) The vet did ask where Lily came from, because she is such a fine looking and healthy little puppy. We told her and she thought you must be a very good breeder (of course I told her you were the best.) Your fame spreads...Take Care Rachel J

hi Marleen! its Brianna! i bought your little yorkiepoo last fall, and want to tell you how much we love her! She has been the best addition to the family possible! as you may know we named her Twiggie, although we pretty much only call he Twigs! I have so much fun with her every day! She sleeps with me every night right by my side! Every day i take her for a walk even though she hates her harness! shes been through puppy classes and graduated with a certificate for "nice working dog"! shes very obedient! shes leaned to sit, stay, shake a paw, lie down, leave a treat dropped on the floor and of course come! she is literally my best friend! the hole family loves her and she gets the most love in the world! i cant thank you enough for letting me have the coolest dog in the world! like i hoped for twiggie has remained black from ears to paws! in certain lights her beard is a tiny bit brown but shes very cute! right now she weighs 5.2 pounds! so shes really small! she hasn't fattened up yet really so her name still works perfectly! twiggie is very energetic but loves to sleep! every night right when i crawl into bed she gets a crazy burst of energy! shell bounce around the bed chasing my hands, and the odd time she runs too fast right off the bed! but she hits the ground running, ready fo more play! thanks again! BRIANNA!

Buttercup and Blossom are both enjoying their retirement together, along with their friend Izzy, being spoiled and loved by Melanie and Roger

Hi there! Thought I'd give you the update! lol She is doing AMAZING....this little sweetie has such personality! She's eating great (her and Izzy like sharing the same dishes! - they even eat/drink side by side, it's so cute!) The outside training is getting much better (had to get to know her habits too)...everyone loves her and she has become my little shadow - follows me everywhere I go, even at work here. She's great with the harness and lead - she naturally walks right beside my leg and watches me so it's coming very easy to her. She was definitely worth the wait! Thanks again for letting us have her!

Junior is doing PERFECTLY fine! :) He is lying down beside me right now actually lol. He is awesome! He is 6 pounds and a little bit now. He is neutered and it went really well. He graduated his puppy classes at petsmart and I might do the other one I might not...because he is pretty well behaved already. He is STILL a puppy though so he does occasionally get into mischief..lol. He is really great though and loves to play and be with me all the time:P That's why he's still my baby:P
!Lol...this is Junior playing with bubbles! He LOVES bubbles! Sometimes when he doesn't come in from the backyard...we just show him the bubbles...and he runs in! LoL....

Oreo At The Beach

Hi Marlene,

First of all, Oreo is doing very well. She is an amazing little girl. She is so smart, and lovable, and obedient and sweet. I couldn't have received a more perfect little dog. I took her with me to my family picnic and everyone thought she was the perfect-in-every-way dog for me. They all couldn't get over how quiet and sweet & cuddly she is. It was like she wasn't even there. I am so very happy with her.

When I'm getting ready for work in the morning, she guards the door. When I come home from work, well, the happy dance goes into action. She is like a little wind up dancing dog. I scoop her up and she snuggles right in. I am so happy to see her as much as she is to see me. We are pretty much inseparable. She follows me from room to room. She sleeps at the end of my bed. Once I get into bed she comes up to me for a tummy rub or a back rub and a head scrub and a few hugs and kisses and then she turns and heads to the foot of the bed and curls up on her blanket. In the morning she wants another hug and snuggle and kisses.

Every day we take a walk down the lane way to the mailbox. I tell her to 'stay' a few feet back from the road while I check the box. I rarely need to use her leash except where there is lots of traffic and people etc. She usually doesn't stray too far from me. Oreo has her own lawn chair when we sit outside in the back yard. She curls up and sleeps. We've taken her to the beach a few times now and she seems to enjoy it. I put a blanket or a towel down for her to lay on with a beach umbrella over top to keep the sun off of her. Talk about Royalty. Oreo is 'Princess Oreo'. She seems to love car rides and curls up in my lap on a blanket and gets quite comfy doing so. When I'm driving, then she is in the seat beside me and is good as gold. My last little dog was all over the car and we had to tie her to the headrest to stop her.

Melissa and her boyfriend just got a puppy a couple of weeks ago. They got a yellow lab. She had him to our vet a week ago so she and her dog came to stay with me for a couple of days. Oreo had her nose pushed out of joint. She did not like that dog one bit. The puppy is 17 weeks old and has so much energy - too much energy for Oreo to deal with. We tried to keep them separated whenever possible. Oreo is a sweet little angel compared to the puppy. I could never handle a dog like that. I was worn out just watching Melissa run around after him. I feel so blessed to have been given Oreo to share my life with. She is perfect. I have silently thanked you so many times for raising such a well behaved little dog and I am so thankful to Melissa for finding her for me.

I've bathed Oreo a couple of times now and she seems to enjoy it. After I towel dry her, she runs around the house darting back and forth. She seems so frisky for awhile. Her hair is so soft and silky, it's beautiful. Melissa works part time in a pet store now, and when she came last week, she had bought Oreo some hair bows. They looks so cute on her, but Oreo was not impressed. Thanks Marlene for your help. Thanks too for a perfect little angel. You did a great job!

Sophie Owned By Tegan

Hey Marleen! Sorry it has taken so long for me to send you some pics of Sophie. :) Sophie is doing AMAZING. I will tell you she is my angel sent from heaven, I have her to come home to every night and she keeps me extremely rounded through everything. Everyone who meets her just loves her, she always runs over and lays on their feet to get her belly rubbed. I'll tell you if we ever went on vacation, we would have no shortage of babysitters that's for sure! Not only that, but she doesn't bark, doesn't nip, doesn't chew anything up and I never have to tell her anything more than once. She's great with my little nieces and nephews, I think she has the patience of a saint. LOL. She had her first haircut a few weeks ago because her fur was growing in her eyes, the groomer didn't want to give her back hahaha. She's done her round of shots, they treat her really really nicely, and at her last exam (about 4 weeks ago) she had gained a whole pound lol so she's 5.5lbs now :) I hope everything is great! I'm so happy to have found her! Thank you SOOOO much! Have a Great Day!!!! Tegan :) :)

Harley Owned By Michael C.

Hi Marleen! I absolutely adore Harley, my puppy!!!:) He has learned so much ever since we got him! He has learned so many tricks and he will do anything to get a doggie biscuit:P I thank you so much for leaving this little one for us! It's really funny, I always try to teach him to give me the ball back once I throw it, but instead he runs away with the ball and not give it back, but just the other day, I told him to stay and he stopped and laid down on the ground showing me his belly :] They're such cute dogs! Thank you so much! Michael C.
