Hi Marleen
Tenshi, Ken and I just wanted to say hi and wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2013. Tenshi has become our best friend and lightens up our lives more than we ever thought possible. She has become a daddy’s girl and loves following him around everywhere. I said I’d never let her sleep in our bed but!!! (and we love it). Since she isn’t a cuddler, we take all the closeness we can get although she makes sure we’re always within her sight. She still has a mind of her own but is much better at “listening” and loves to play. Tenshi turned two years old last Sunday and is a happy and healthy dog and we can’t thank you enough for bringing her into our lives.
Enjoy these photos. Two are from the day of her birthday and the other one of her wrapped up in the blanket, which she did herself, is my favourite.

Buddy The Morkie Owned By The McNeill Family
Hello Marlene!
It's been a month since we brought Buddy home with us and we just wanted to take a moment to say thank-you!
Firstly dealing with you was a pleasure; from our first inquiry via e-mail to our in-depth conversations while picking out our pup and also when we came to take him home. Our vet check- up went beautifully and he is a very healthy puppy! In all honesty it's hard to remember what life was like without this little bundle of love. His temperament is perfect, lots of energy for walking and lots of down time in the evenings when our family gets together.
Other than the first night we brought him Buddy he sleeps in his kennel through the night and is starting to get more freedom around the house now that he is almost completely potty trained. He will be starting obedience classes with our daughter on Sunday just so we learn the right signals to use when we want him to walk on leash, sit etc. He already knows the command for stay!
Anyways, we just wanted to send you a photo of our now 3.2 lb bundle of LOVE and thank you once again for bringing him into our lives.
Be well,
The McNeill Family

Bindi The Morkie
Hello Marleen
Here is a picture of Bindi after visiting the groomers. She was really well behaved at the groomer's. The groomer commented on how well tempered she is and that he could tell she came from a very good breeder!
Bindi is doing great at puppy class and she has learned basic commands even before we took her to puppy class!
Overall she is a great addition to our family and she is loved to bits even by our two cats :-)

Sonny The Morkie, Loved By Nellie And Bob
Hi Marleen
Just wanted to send an update on Sonny.
As you can see from the picture he is adorable. He has a great personality and makes friends everywhere he goes. My pizzazz pup is exactly what I was hoping for, friendly, happy and healthy. At six months old he is just under 5 lbs. We completed bronze level obedience classes. We did very well at some of the training but sitting in one place for more than a few minutes is more than we could manage. My little bundle of energy only has 2 speeds full on or asleep. Sonny will continue advertising for Pizzazz Pups.
Take care.

Daisy The Morkie, Daughter Of Lollipop And Tango, Sister To Boomer.
Hi Marleen
Daisy is a very calm, deliberate pup and has great eye-contact capability. She seems to be very intelligent and is taking everything in like a sponge. Late last evening I was in the yard with her and she sprang to life, darting back and forth and turning on a dime! It was priceless. She doesn't like the playpen at bedtime but her plaintive bark gets her out in a jiffy. She stays at one's feet for safety and often plops herself down on the floor at a moments notice and lies between our feet until we walk somewhere else in the house, whereafter she will be following closely. She seems to. be a quantity kisser too and eats and drinks well, thankfully. Hope you've had a great Easter. Bye for now,

Apollo, Son Of Arielle And Tango, Loved By Jenielle
Hi Marleen,
Hope all is well.
Just wanted to give you an update on Apollo.
He is doing very well, we get lots of complements on how he is such a good boy. He is now up to date with all his shots and he has his rabies shot as well. We ended up putting him in daycare for a little bit and he LOVES it...he gets all excited when you take him out the car to go in. He is not a shy dog at all, he doesn't care how big the dog is, he likes to play with them all. His separation anxiety has improved a lot! He is now better being home alone and doesn't bark or cry. I attached a picture for you...he is 2.8lbs now.
Talk to you soon

Oliver The Morkie Owned By Anna
Hi Marleen, Hope you and your family are having a great summer. I have finally been able to get a decent picture of Oliver and thought you would like to see him. He has just had his first hair trim/grooming appointment. As you can see his face is now almost completely beige/tan as are his front legs. He is doing really well and is as cute as ever. Talk to you soon. Anna

Baily, owned by Suzanne
Hi Marleen,
Just a quick note to let you know that Bailey is doing great. She can do sit, down, come (most of the time!) and now goes to the door to go out. She loves chasing squirrels and is lots of fun. She hasn't hit the 4lb mark yet but she's close!! We love her to bits and we're having lots of fun with her. Thanks again for letting us have such a great pup.
All the best,
Suzanne

The Horsley family has adopted 3 of our beautiful Babies. Lucy, Pumpkin and Tango's Morkie and her brother Beemer, as well as Cody, the Yorkie Poo, who is Hannah and Ozzy's son.
Hi Marleen:
I hope you are well. Thank you for the nice words about our family. You are right that ‘the pups’ lucked out, they are and will be treated exceptionally well and live very happy lives. However, even with the trials, lol, lol, of having a new baby in the house they provide great joy for us as well.
The three of them got together yesterday for some play time and were overjoyed at seeing each other. They played and played and then all cuddled together for a long nap. Surprisingly, all three are well settled at night. It seems they all can go about 6 hours before needing to be let outside and Beemer only had a couple of accidents the first day and goes right to the pee pad if we are not diligent enough to let him out in time. I think this is a testament to your efforts and great care in the first few months of their lives.
Lucy and Cody passed their initial vet appointments with flying colours and no doubt Beemer will do the same tomorrow morning. We will all collect some pictures for you and send as soon as possible. They will be seeing each other again in a few hours and after seeing them all together yesterday, I think it will be a bonus for them being able to spend a good portion of their lives together.
We finally got to hear Beemer’s voice yesterday. He was in our bathroom and not knowing that it was his reflection down the hall into the shower, he began growling and barking at himself. He would move to his right, and of course the reflection would move also, so he would walk outside the bathroom door to see where the dog went. It was hiliarious!! He kept repeating the same routine over and over. He is a hoot!
Talk to you soon,
Colleen

Good Morning Marleen:
I hope everything is going well with you and your family. I’m sure you are busy with puppies. All is well with Beemer, Cody and Lucy. Collectively they are the, ‘Three Stooges’, and are very entertaining to say the least. Believe it or not, Beemer is the most laid-back of the group. Although he still likes to walk all over Lucy and Cody he seems to be in energy conservation mode most of the time, lol, lol. He can run like the wind, but there is a quiet intelligence about him that is very compelling to watch.
For example: Cody is by far the most obsessed with ‘sticks’ – any kind of stick – rawhide/outdoor sticks he finds/ - virtually anything that even resembles a stick. Beemer and Lucy cannot have a stick without having Cody steal it or attempt to steal it, no matter how many sticks he already has. One afternoon Cody and Beemer were playing, and as usual Cody was hogging all the sticks. Beemer would creep up on him, sit on him, chew on the stick with him, but Cody is always determined to have control of the stick. We think Beemer just got fed up with not being able to get a stick to himself, so he began bringing red toys over to Cody (another obsessive favourite of Cody’s, lol) would make them squeak and then Beemer would drop them beside Cody. Cody would immediately pick up the toy and Beemer would then steal the stick and run. Of course it would not take long for Cody to realize the stick was gone and he would eventually get it back (sheer determination!!) and the game would begin again with Beemer enticing him with a red toy. It was the funniest thing and we wish we had videotaped them doing this because it was priceless.
Lucy is the one that keeps everyone in their place. I don’t know whether we just put our labels on her because she is the female, but she always seems to be the most ‘dainty’ of the three but has no problem bossing them around. While in the backyard last night, Lucy decided that Beemer needed to stay under a chair for a little while. Every time he would leave this spot she would chase him back under the chair and then continue her own playing. Beemer can easily outrun Lucy, but she never gave up until he was back under that chair. Of course Beemer would wait for his opportunities to escape and eventually outsmarted her with his knowledge of his own backyard and various routes out of gardens/bushes, into which he would run. Beemer definitely enjoys the games with Cody and Lucy and is the instigator of chases and explorations on most occasions.
They still love to cuddle up together for their naps when they are together, and Lucy and Cody seem to love to sleep partially on top of Beemer, which he does not mind at all. He weighs about 6.5 lbs now, Lucy about 5.5 lbs and Cody 4.6 lbs. They have all had their final shots and are very healthy. They all love their walks and runs and are house trained very well. It truly is heart-warming to watch them get so excited and happy to see each other each and every time. Luckily, they do see each other almost every day. Cody now gets excited in the car as he nears our home and just bolts to the house the minute he arrives.
Again Marleen, we must compliment you on your care and efforts towards the puppies in their first months as we do believe the early care and attention contributed to very happy and healthy puppies. They have wonderful temperaments and are a daily joy for us (as well as very entertaining with all the ‘puppy antics’). Most people cannot believe that we did not go through the stage of puppies crying at night. They all adjusted amazingly well to their new homes.
I promise to have a collection of pictures sent to you as soon as possible.
Take care Marleen and enjoy the summer!!

Hi Marleen: The puppies are all doing well and continue to be entertaining individually and as a group. They are so well behaved and bring much laughter and joy to our lives. Sometimes, however...they are still just a little bit crazy!! I have attached a short video of some of this craziness, lol, lol. Enjoy the craziness. (You were right...they do love water!!)

Hi Marleen
I hope you can view this short video...it will give you a better look at our three little 'goofies', lol. We just had the pool closed and they love running around on the cover as it's like a little trampoline for them.
Enjoy!

Coat and Colour changes - These pups now have their mature adult coat colours, which has lightened quite a bit over time. Lucy and Cody were born black and tan, and Beemer was pure black.
Marley The Morkie Owned By Jessica And Eugene
Hi Marleen,
Just an update. Marley is growing fast, and getting into daily mischief..but other than that, he is doing great. He has started to look at the stairs...so needless to say, we had to invest in a child proof gate, and now that the stairs going down are blocked off...he has become aware that there are stairs going up as well...he manages to climb up the first 2 steps, then he gets scared and comes back down...but at least he tries!
He is doing well while we are gone. Still wimpers when we initially leave, but i have watched him through the window and usually after a few mins, he just walks over to his bed to lay down.
Thanks and Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. We will send you some more pics in the new year.
Eugene, Jessica, and Marley!

Daisy Owned By Klaudija
Hi Marleen, Hope everything is well with you and your family. What can I say about Daisy, she is everything we expected and more. She's about 8lbs and super long which I think is so funny. We can't get over how much energy is inside that little thing. She has my entire family wrapped around her little paws. She is so friendly and loves to cuddle. She also plays the stubborn 3yr old child role very well until she gets her way. I'm convinced that she was a baby in another life. She definitely isn't as sweet and innocent as she looks. She might have been the quietest out of her sister but believe me that's not the case now. As you can see from the pictures we like to dress her up. The funny thing is she doesn't look like a girl and is always mistaken for a boy. Bow's don't stay on her for long as she manages to take them all off when we're not looking. She's one funny puppy, thats for sure. She's brought so much joy into all our lives. Take care, Klaudija
Oliver The Morkie Owned By Beth And Gilles
Hi Marlene, We thought we would give you a bit of an update. Oliver is great! He has caught on to everything so quickly-almost everything. House training has been tricky. We are now trying paper and pee pads. He knows his name, sits and stops on command, walks with a leash and even without one-when we are nearby. He has really adjusted well, and we are starting to also. Its a big adjustment, as we have been used to just the two of us. He has certainly stolen our hearts, and we are so glad we have him. You should see all the neighbors when Oliver comes out! He is the talk of the neighborhood! We will keep in touch! Bye for now..... Beth & Gilles

Molly The Morkie Owned By Karen
Hi Marlene:
She is just great ! She is now 3.6 pounds, so cute, and a lovely little personality. We are doing training with Tony Harper and have had 6 sessions with him at my home on Monday evenings for one hour. She will sit on command, and sit/stay, and is now starting to do "down" to lay down on command. She walks (most of the time!) in a pretty good "heel" position. She loves her little crate and sleeps every night quietly and well for about 8 hours or so. She is 'doing her business' outside very well.
She comes to work with me about once a week, sometimes twice, and a young woman, Melissa, comes in twice a day when she is at home to take her for a walk and play with her. She stays in the kitchen, where her crate is, while I'm at work. Everyone at work loves her and when I go to work without her, people are asking all day "where's Molly?".
She is scheduled to have her spay on April 22. I was at the vet today, for her last vaccine (the vet wanted to give her the last ones on two appts a few weeks apart because she is so small). She is healthy and everything is perfect according to my vet.
She is wonderful company and has made my life happier that is for sure.
If you are out this way, let me know, I'd be happy for you to come for tea and a visit.
Warm regards, Karen
Thanks Marlene: Molly is doing so so well. She is sleeping through the whole night, not a 'peep' for 8 hours. Just fantastic. The 'potty' training is going great, she is going outside, almost no accidents in the house. She is in training with Tony Harper Dog Obedience. He has come to the house now for 2 of our 6 sessions. She is learning well. We think she is a very bright puppy who wants to please. I think she is very happy here and I'm so happy to have her. Thanks. Karen

Hi Marleen,
Been thinking about you this weekend as it was one year ago that we brought Kiera home. Thought you might be interested in this updated picture of her. We have found a groomer that we are really happy with. This is the most recent picture of her groom. We are still trying to decide whether we like her ears longer or short like this. Kiera continues to bring lots of laughs and joy to our family. She has quite her own little personality. The training has gone really well. No accidents at all. She consistently uses a pad which is available to her both upstairs and down. She is not trained to go to the door but when we take her out she has no problem knowing what to do. I was watching your website all fall as I loved the little Morkie with the white paw. Shaun would encourage me to call you, but I decided that Kiera was enough for now, although she would love a friend, I’m sure. I hope that little one found a good home. Hope all is well with you and your family and we will keep in touch.

Tenshi The Morkie Owned By Sue And Ken
Hi Marleen,
We just wanted to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and all the best for a healthy & happy 2012.
Tenshi turned one yesterday so we thought we'd share a couple of pictures that we took after she was groomed. She now weighs over 7 pounds - so much for a 5 lb. dog.
She continues to challenge us that's for sure but she also fills our hearts with unconditional love. Tenshi has enjoyed the little bit of snow we've had so far and looks really cute in her hoodsy & vest. I think she's spoiled! We've had fun shopping for her first Christmas with us!
Yesterday when she was groomed, the groomer said that Tenshi was a well bred dog, perfect in every way!!! As you can see by the photos, she really is beautiful and gets away with things she likely shouldn't because of those sad little eyes of hers.

Marleen,
We really do feed her! From looking at these pics it appears as we may be starving her. She is still 4.5 lbs. so I think she has reached her weight. (The tongue sticking out of the mouth is a common habit for her). We had a great vacation with her. She enjoyed cottage life and likes the boat. By the end of two weeks she started to get too comfortable on it and wanted to hang over the bow so we had to keep her leashed. You were right, she is a good swimmer. We have just purchased a larger boat that we can sleep on so our plan is to have her with us whenever we are on the water. I will feel much better about her on it than on the 19ft. She had no problem on the Sea doo as Shaun takes her with him on his ATV for little rides around the farm. We have to leash her still when we take her outside as she has ran on us in the past when not on a leash and we are surround by lots of bush. Hopefully, some day we will be able to allow her more freedom outside. We are still working on the training. She did very well at the cottage. But, she had our constant attention daily. No accidents at all. However, at home she does still have the occassional accident. We are very patient with that however. Our life style is not a consistent one so getting her outside can often be difficult. She always has a pee pad available to her inside. She now sleeps with Shaun and I which is what we hoped for. If she needs to pee she wakes us but usually she gets through the night without any problem. I have been home part time this summer so she has had some relief from daily crating. She does quite like her space in per crate though. We continue to experience so much joy having her in our home. She went to the groomer yesterday for the first time. I have been clipping her nails but the groomer did a much better job. She really handled the experience well. I have brushed her often so she is use to being combed. She had a bit of a hair cut to even up her long ends. Her coat is still quit thin so the groomer styled her the best she could. She will return in two months. I will try to get some pics of her hair cut to send you. I haven't heard from her brother's family for a while. I'm curious at how her siblings are doing and their size. We will continue to keep in touch as she continues to change. Lori

Kiera The Morkie Owned By The Dilliots

Hi Marleen
It's been a while since we contacted you so thought you might enjoy an update about Kiera. We love her like she is our child. I never thought that we could get so much joy out of a little dog. She loves walks, cuddles, ice creme (only once a week) and car rides. We haven't yet taken her on the boat but will be soon as she is joining us at the cottage. We are shopping for a life jacket though.
She is a little diva as you warned us about. she is a very finicky eater. She has started to refuse the puppy Royal Canine so pet smart suggested a blend of adult for fussy eaters. It seems to be working as long as I cut up some cucumber, carrot or any other veggy into small bites and mix it in. She loves fresh peas. When they were on in the garden she would try to pick a pod off the vine and eat it. We preferred her to eat just the pea though. She also loves fresh fruit. Pet smart reassured me that was ok to give her provided we stayed away from onions, grapes, and all those others items that are harmful--we have a list.
She is only 4.4 lbs and hasn't grown for quite some time. She is very active so she does run a lot of her energy off. She was spayed on June 30 and has recovered nicely from the surgery. the vet also removed 7 puppy teeth while she was under as the adult teeth had come in but the pupppy teeth had not fallen out. It was a struggle as a mommy to take her for surgery but we all managed to get over it. We don't have a lot of good recent pictures but now that I am home a bit more for the summer I will try and get a good one to send to you. We have been watching your website for your new litters and you have had some nice puppies. We often joke that Kiera needs a friend but I don't think we are ready for another. I will keep in touch and send pics.
Have a nice summer

Hi Original Mummy
I can hardly believe that I am almost one year old now. I am surely living up to my name as I now weigh 10 pounds and I measure almost 20 inches from my nose to my bum!

It was a very scary first few days here in Acton. Everything was new to me – especially the stairs! My forever mummy always carried me up and down, but eventually I learned to do it all by myself. Now I go 2 at a time on the way up (I am faster than the humans). I am glad that I was able to bring my blanket with me here – it made my first night more comfortable for me.

Candy and I are
getting along a lot better now. At first, she did not like me. But now that she
knows me better, we hardly ever quarrel. Sometimes she actually plays with me.
I guess she is just a lot older than I am and she is not as playful. Not like
me! I play and play and play. I love to play until I am so tired that I plop on
the floor and go to sleep. I love to sleep too. And eat! The food here is
really good and it changes all the time - I love the variety!

My first visit to the vet was easy-peasy. They said that I was a really great dog and that I must have come from an exceptional breeder. That made me feel good.

Another first for me was playing in the snow. Wow! That was way cool fun! I can’t wait for the snow to come again. I like the really big flakes that come down slow enough that I can catch them in my mouth. I love chasing them. Jumping in the snow is fun too – as long as it is not too deep.
